I love to read.
Always have, as long as I can remember.
I have to admit...
I don't make time to read nearly often enough.
You know, there's work and laundry and errands and
cooking and cleaning and painting.
A husband that requires
some of my time and attention!
And television sucks up more of my time
than I should allow.
But there's something about summer.
Looser schedules, later bedtimes,
lounging by the pool...
begs a good read!
The books are stacked up on my nightstand right now:
4 fiction, 4 Christian
I've already read the bottom two on the stack,
Mrs. Perfect and Speechless.
And I've started the the top one,
The Friday Night Knitting Club.
So I'd love to know...
what are YOU reading?
Frank got me a Kindle a before our spring break cruise and I just downloaded some Christian fiction books that were FREE on it today! And I am going to read The Help this summer...I'm just still searching for the best deal I can get on it. I have to buy the book instead of the Kindle version because Jake has to read it this year for school too. I love to read, but I hate to pay a lot for books. The used book store in Lake Park has spoiled me!
ReplyDeleteI like your taste in books. Friday night knitting club was a good read. And C.S. Lewis is one of the best.
ReplyDeleteI have been going through the Amelia Peabody series for a while. I recommend it.
